WELCOME
TO OUR
2010 TREE SEEDLING CATALOGUE
Dear
Customer,
Welcome to our 2010
catalogue.
Our spring planting
season has proceede well, with excellent germination in most lines.
In the main, we have increased our total planting requirements to
meet demand. Your input into what your future needs are, drives our
seed and cutting collection, and ultimately our planting schedule.
We are committed to long term relationships with our
customers.

2009 was an eventful
year for the company. The Victorian bushfires of 7th Feb 2009
caused immense heartache and damage to our communities. Some of our
customers were located in those areas and although there were
property losses, thankfully they survived.
Locally, the Bunyip
Ridge Fire threatened areas in West Gippsland for many days.
Fortunately, as the fire headed in our direction, the wind changed
and blew it back into the forest. Coincidentally, Brad Frost, our
Manager and his lovely wife Jessica, were married on that day in
his front yard at Yarragon, after having to relocate from the
winery that was under threat. Fortunately, our local publican
arranged a sit down meal for 60 with an hours notice! The backdrop
to their wedding photos is amazing as it shows the conditions that
were occuring near our nursery.

Our seedlings survived
the unusual blast furnace conditions of last summer extremely well.
This is a testament to ongoing improvements in our irrigation
system, hardy stock, excellent in-ground growing conditions and our
professional staff.
The Open Day will be
held on Friday 30th April 2010. This is a great opportunity for
customers to view their order and sample some of our West Gippsland
hospitality. Please put it in your diaries and we'll be contacting
you in the New Year.
Thank you for your
support and best wishes for the festive season.
Kind regards,
Glenn & Jennifer
Fenton
