Nationwide Trees Pty Ltd, a family company,
purchased Lucas Liners in 2002 from our uncle, Frank Lucas. Frank,
now 74, bought an old strawberry farm at Noojee in 1985 and in the
following 17 years carved out a very good reputation for growing
tree seedlings on an excellent site located on the Little Latrobe
River in Victoria.
Nationwide Trees grows tree seedlings, understocks and selected
grafted trees for the wholesale nursery trade. Our aim is to
provide these beautiful little trees at a consistent price for our
customers anywhere in Australia or overseas. |

The trees are field grown from seed or cuttings. We
prefer to collect our own tree seed and cuttings from known sources
in Australia and overseas, thereby ensuring the quality of the
stock for our customers. Reputable international tree seed
companies are used only when we cannot collect the seed or the
source trees are resting. (it happens!) Trees are harvested in
winter and are dispatched as bare rooted bundles around Australia.
For those who miss out on their winter order, we provide a
comprehensive container supply of trees.
We also provide a contract growing service for customers who either
want their supply of seedlings guaranteed or who want to have their
trees grown to a certain size. Please call us about your
